Family Day: a Beach Party for young and old under the Luxembourg sun!
Why not take a break and simply be together? That’s what made this Family Day so special, when Bradesco opened its arms wide to employees and their families for a festive afternoon with a holiday flavour.
On the agenda: a beach party atmosphere just the way you like it
A smoking barbecue, a vintage ice-cream trolley, candy-pink candyfloss, crunchy popcorn… There was plenty to tantalise the taste buds while the children (and not just the children!) had a great time with bouncy castles, giant wooden games, play mats, beach volleyball tournaments and lots of entertainment, including a magician to brings smiles to young and old alike.
Why is this important?
Because a company is also a community. By inviting family and friends, we’re highlighting the human side of each employee. We reinforce the feeling of belonging, we create genuine ties beyond the office, and we offer a real moment of relaxation, shared and memorable.
This sunny day showed that with a little (symbolic) sand, a few parasols and a lot of good humour, you can make a company a place to live, not just a place to work.
Why does it work?
This kind of experience, outside the usual work environment, acts as an eye-opener. You get to (re)discover your colleagues in a different way, supporting others in their efforts, laughing together about the difficulties and savouring the victories together. It’s here that a sincere bond is forged, far stronger than any Zoom meeting.
Over the course of the day, we saw leaders emerge, talents reveal themselves and, above all, a wonderful dynamic of mutual support take root. All this helps to reinforce the corporate culture: values that are lived out in the field, not just displayed on a wall.
The result?
A boosted team, proud to have conquered their totem pole, and leaving with shared memories engraved in their heads. And between you and me, this kind of shared moment is worth all the theoretical training in the world.
What next? We’re keeping it under our hat… But one thing is certain: the adventure has only just begun.
